25. Adella Jane HARRIS was born on 15 Jul 1854 in Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York. She appeared in the census in 1880 in Marshall, Richland County, Wisconsin, pg. 112D.¹⁰⁴ She died on 8 Apr 1922 in Richland County, Wisconsin. She is reference number 2935. She was buried in Fancy Creek Cemetery, Gillingham, Richland County, Wisconsin. Adelle's daughter, Gertrude (Graves) Buehler, gave birth to a daughter just 3 years after Gertrude's sister, Stella Griffin, was born.
There is a Dell Graves, age 17, working as a domestic servant in Clay, Onondaga County, New York in the 1870 census. She is living in the household of Henry and Sarah Cronkite. There are other Graves families in Onondaga County, but none in Clay. She must have stayed behind when her family moved to Wisconsin; John Harris and family are in Marshall, Richland County, Wisconsin in 1870. Adella's daughter, Gertrude Graves, was born about 1871.
